About teaching

What do you like about teaching?
Teaching constantly keeps me on my toes, forcing me to stay adaptable, curious, and open to new insights myself. Even as the "teacher," I often learn something from the conversations I have! Plus, seeing someone have that "aha" moment when they grasp something challenging is incredibly rewarding.

What is your advice to students of English?

Surround yourself with English as much as possible. Watch movies, listen to music, podcasts, or audiobooks, and read articles or books that interest you. The more exposure you get, the more natural the language will feel.

Instead of memorizing long lists of words, learn new vocabulary in context. Pay attention to how words are used in sentences, and try to use them in your own conversations or writing.

And TRAVEL! As much as you can!

Traveling and studying abroad gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture and language. By studying in a foreign country, you can broaden your perspective and gain unique life experiences. It’s a great way to build international connections and improve your career prospects. Don’t hesitate to explore the world—there’s so much to learn outside of your comfort zone!

i can work for weeks from Monday to Sunday with a minimum of sleep, plus I love extreme sports like canyoning where you rappel down waterfalls and climb rocks.
